FIXED WDT720PADM2 Whirlpool Dishwasher Driving us nuts - won’t spray (most of the time)

Based on this video is seems like very little water is getting through the hose and into the dishwasher. Could this be an issue?
Yes, that is the problem, you should have LOTS of water pressure coming out of your water supply line.

Should I disassemble the new valve and fitting to inspect for blockage?
Yes, that's what I would do.

Is the fitting correct size for a dishwasher?
Yes, its good.

Happy to report. There was a blockage in the line. Fixed that and everything is working as expected. Thanks for the help Jake!!!

Excellent, glad that was all it was.(y)

Thanks for the update!

Jake - my struggles continue lol. Dishwasher is now leaking from bottom of front door. There is some insulation that is getting saturated and the dripping down on the ground. Thoughts?

When you see this happening open the door and see if its oversudsing and thus dripping water out the bottom of the front door.

Possibly due to oversudsing. It’s hard to tell. It also is doing it intermittently. Doesn’t always happen. Thoughts?

Intermittent problems are the hardest to nail down.

Just when you see it leaking check for oversudsing, that's about all I know to tell you.

Use less detergent. If your using pods switch to powder and only fill the detergent dispenser cup only half way.

Yes, I'd do that too.
