I have a whirlpool WDT720PADM2 that is not draining. Replaced drain pump and checked float switch with ohmmeter. I took everything apart again and everything check out. When I select 1 hour wash, it says wash on the screen during the whole cycle. If I hold the button for 3 seconds, it will drain the standing water in the bottom of washer. What could this be? Thanks

When you start a new cycle and after you hear it fill with water, do you hear the wash motor come on and do you hear water splashing in the tub?

If so, then the only other part it can be is the control board, the control board sends 120 volts to the drain pump.
