I am not a professional. I recently replaced the blue water inlet valve on my dishwasher. After replacing it, my dishwasher now leaks from the water inlet assembly that attached to the tub. It is part number W11289893. It's seal and body are in tact. It appears like it is overflowing from the back of it where there is an opening built in. I have circled this spot on a picture from the internet. What might be causing it to leak from this spot?

What was the original problem for you to replace the water inlet valve in the first place?

Here's the OEM water inlet valve for your model:
Water Inlet Valve W11434044

Where did you buy it at? Was it a aftermarket part? If it was NOT leaking before, then it should not be leaking now.

--->The manufacturer has replaced part number W11289893 with part number W11535094.

The water inlet device is part # W11535094

It was an aftermarket part bought on amazon. We had some really cold temperatures and that dishwasher sits on an exterior wall. The freeze caused it to leak and after the thaw it would leak anytime the water was turned on. We replaced the black hose attached to it as well. The hose that came with the replacement was also much longer, so maybe the hose length is a factor? Do we need to replace the water inlet valve again?

Yes, I would send the aftermarket part back and get a refund, then order the OEM one I posted above and that should solve it.:)
