This is probably the result of my son washing an old rubber backed rug that disintegrated in washer. In the past, I have had to occasionally remove the back, pull the hose that goes into the pump and collect junk that gets caught in the 90 degree turn. This time, that is not working. Is there another place where all that disintegrated rubber could have collected?

First time I did it a ton of rubber bits came out. Wonder if it is as simple as the drain pipe itself is plugged?

Thanks, Mike

Hi,

Should have a twist out clean out also.
The pump could have been easily damaged with all the crap inside...

It's working great now. Thanks. I am not sure if pump was good or bad, I just replaced it. Too much work to put it together and then have to take apart again (if original pump was no good).
