I have a leak in my Samsung WF328AAR washer. The water collects under the tub. I just replaced the outer tub seal and it still leaks. The tub seal replacement went as expected, so now I'm thinking that the leak must be from another source. I checked all the water supply connections and all feel dry.
The drain pump and attached hoses all are dry also. I removed the top cover during a cycle and the top of the wash tub area shows no water as well. I'm at a loss now. Could the water somehow be deflecting off the door boot seal and then running down the outer tub to where it drips off the bottom of the tub?
Also, can I test my outer tub seal by pouring a small amount of water directly into the wash tub and then running a spin only cycle? If I tried this, what would be the right amount of water to use? Thank you for any and all advice.
