Greetings. I just got a used WF405ATPSU/A2 washer and during the spin cycle, it sounds like an aircraft is taking off in my kitchen. It shakes pretty bad but the noise is unbearable. The floor is level and the feet are set properly. Does anyone have any ideas on what I should look into when trying to fix this?

Hi, The problem is the bearings that have gone bad. Its a big job to do, if you have plenty on time on your hands it can be done, following the steps below.

You'd need to order both bearings below and the seal too, because usually what happens is the seal leaks water in the bearings and the bearings start getting loud, like on your machine.

That video is amazing, but he doesn't cover the actual bearing replacement. Is that simply a lift out part once you get everything else apart, or is there more to it?
