FIXED WF42H5200AF/A2 rattling noise when the drum spins.

Please see attached video. I ‘d like to know what possible causes and how to fix. Very much appreciated.

Its likely some foreign object in between the tubs causing that noise, get a flashlight and look through the inner tub holes to see if you notice anything.

If not, then you will need to remove the inner tub and see.

Scroll down to the videos and the 1st video on the left is labeled: How to Replace Spider Bolt That video will show you how to remove and replace the inner tub.

I opened up the washer this morning and didn’t find anything in the drum assembly. However, I did find out it is the balance ring making the rattle noise when the liquid and marbles collide at the right time. Now I can brag about I know how to tear down a front loader washer. Thank you for your help and the wonderful video.

Marbles? LOL, I've never heard of marbles in the balance ring, just liquid.:)

Good job Strong Cheng taking it apart and putting it back together. We both learned something new. LOL
