Somewhere in the cycle the washer stopped, did not drain and would not release door. When powered on for 30 seconds or so it will display the message about high / low voltage being detected. Checking with the meter I found that the washer switches the neutral and that the pwr relay is not engaging. When jumped the washer seems to behave fine. I cut the side out of the relay thinking I was going to find bad contacts and sanded them.
Reconnected the board and discovered that the relay never attempts to pull in at all. This leaves me with a dilemma, am I dealing with a bad main pwb, a bad cntrl panel or is there a safety somewhere interrupting the signal to the relay. I am really not finding anything in the schematic.
Additionally, I can't figure out why the relay is there at all if not for safety. Of course Samsung coated the board in some sort of resin so trouble shooting board level it is out. Perhaps someone here has delt with this before and knows what to order so I don't waste money on parts that I don't need.
