WFE540H0AE0 Whirlpool electric oven won’t maintain temperature

We’ve got a WFE540H0AE0 that’s about six years old. The oven heats up to set temperature, but won’t maintain temperature. If bake is canceled and restarted, it comes back to temperature, but the oven won’t maintain temperature.
the temperature sensor reads 1070 ohms at room temperature. The bake element reads 15.3 ohms at room temperature. So, those appear to be in spec.
no error codes come up
are there any checks that I can do on the control board? Any other ideas?

Hi Paul,

Disconnect power to your range, then Remove the cover from over the bake element per the video and see if your bake element has a hole in it, or any bad spots in it. If so, order and replace it.

If you bake element is fine and the oven sensor is fine, then the only part left is the control board.
