Takes 43 minutes to get to 425F. It maintains temp as long as nothing is in the oven, but once cold or frozen food is placed in oven, it can't regain or maintain temperature. Tried switching to convection mode and seems to help a bit but still takes 35+ minutes to heat up. Broil works, but I don't think it's coming on during preheat, and don't recall if it ever did with this model.

Added correct model number

Hi,

W10400397 B isn't the model number, that's a part number.

Then you will see a link that says: How to find a model number.

Thanks, that's it!

Let's first check your bake element, pull your range out from the wall, then unplug your range from the wall outlet, then watch the video in the bake element part link, it will show you how to access it. Check the back two bake element terminals to make sure it didn't short out there, if so order and replace it.

Then remove the cover from over the bake element per the video and see if your bake element has a hole in it, or any bad spots in it. If so, order and replace it.

Here's the bake element for your model:

If neither is the case, then you will need to ohm test it:

Let us know what you find.
