Good morning,

I am checking in to see if there is any additional information related to the below previous post ?

I am also dealing with the E01 F03 error.

I checked the filter and it was not clogged.

I recently replaced the pressure switch, I then did 3 successful washes, then at the end of the 4th wash the E01 F03 error code came back.

Originally the E01 F03 error code only happened at the end of the cycle, as I did additional washes it got worse and errored out 5 - 10 minutes into the washing cycle, any suggestions on why this pattern changed?

Just today I ordered Whirlpool OEM Part #W10903220 with the information that was documented in the previous post I listed.

Is this the permanent fix that I am looking for? the washing machine is only 4 years old.

I understand the original Air Dome might have been defective? and the new part I just ordered is a redesigned replacement? If so how is this part working well for 4 years and all of a sudden causing the E01 F03 error?

Is there any chance the Control Board can be causing the E01 F03 error in my case?

Thank you.

Your model number isn't on that service bulletin for this error code.

The part you ordered is the Air Dome, now if that gets clogged up it can throw this error code, so check the old one first before you install the new one.

That is the correct Air Dome for your model:

I'm attaching your tech. data sheet below. Do what it mentions to do on Page 17 and Page 18.

F3E1--->WATER LEVEL SYSTEM ERROR--->The ACU detects an out of range pressure signal
Possible Causes
--->Check connections from tub to air trap, air trap to pressure hose, and pressure hose to water level sensor
Is pressure hose pinched, kinked, plugged, or leaking air?
--->See TEST #7 (Water Level Sensor) on page 17.

Hi Jake,

Sorry, but I am confused here now.

I called up whirlpool, and they said the replacement part for the Air Dome is Item #4460849 | Whirlpool OEM Part #W10903220 which is the same part # you listed as the correct part?

Below is a link to the part on the whirlpool website.

whirlpoolparts.com/PartDetail/Air-Dome/4460849

We go by the OEM manufacture number which is W10903220.

The Item number 4460849 is just a whirlpoolparts.com number, that all.

Just like AppliancePartsPros item number is AP6036116, but all have the same manufacture number which is W10903220.

Hello all you E01 F03-ers: I've been dealing with this problem intermittently for about 2 years. I have replaced the Air Dome, Pressure Switch and, just last week, the hose between the pressure switch and the Air Dome. I thought this last repair did the trick, but got the error message again this morning. I'm thinking the Control Board is the only remaining possibility. As many of you likely agree, this is beyond frustrating.

I'd be happy to hear from anyone that has had a similar experience, but ended up finding a solution. If I could get the machine up to the roof of my house, I'd throw it off. (this seems such a wide-spread issue, I kinda can't believe there hasn't been a class action lawsuit against Whirlpool or whoever makes it.

Thanks

Here's our main thread on this issue:

@ezdrocks said he also replaced the drain pump along with the pressure switch and that fixed it:

Your model uses the exact same drain pump.

Here's the drain pump for your model, in case others need it too:

Here's the video to replace it, for others as well:
