Whirlpool Cabrio - Leak in the front left of the machine

Hello,

My Whirlpool washer model #WTW8600YW0 has developed a leak in the front left of the machine, location verified by placing cardboard under the machine and observing the drop spots. I'm not sure what water sources are in this area of the machine, perhaps the laundry soap dispenser?

I just completed bearing and main seal replacements, all wend smoothly and not longer leaks from center.

Hi,

Hoses are under the lid for soap, softener and bleach dsipensing....once of those could easily have developered a leak.

Should be worth taking the top off to have a peek.

Don't change the lid switch, just shows how to raise the top panal.....would have thought that was done when you replaced the bearings.

Looks like 23, 25, 27 all have hoses.

Yes, I did lift the lid previously but had not noted the location of the dispenser or hoses. I'll take open it up tonight and look for leaks

Interesting though my cover does not have the same release clips as in the video, I have to loosen the hinges in the back, slide the top forward to disengage then lift.
