I need some advice on fixing the F51 error code on my Cabrio washer. (Model WTW6600SW2). I have replaced the bearings and shaft (which needed to be replaced a while ago anyway), replaced the rotor position sensor, AND the stator. Still getting the F51 code! When I try to put it in automatic diagnostic mode, all the lights come on with the number 88, but then instead of doing the tests it just flashes F51. When I just try and run a load, it starts with a brief blast of water (as it usually does) but then does not start spinning. It then tries a couple more times before flashing F51.

The tub itself spins just fine when I do it by hand.

Any ideas? I am trying to save money by fixing this myself, and so far I have had no issues replacing the parts that I described, but it's not fixing the problem apparently. The control board itself seems fine - looks brand new under there actually, and everything is connected as it should be.

Help!!!

Hi Dan,

I haven't worked on this model as of yet, but Rick helped another member with the error code F51 in this thread: Whirlpool Cabrio UL F51 Error Codes

He also posted a couple Service Flash pdf's in post#6 that you may want to download and take a look at.

I checked another thread: FIXED Whirlpool Cabrio Washer F50 Error and you need a new control board, your model uses the exact same control board as in that thread.

Here it is:
