I have a Whirlpool Cabrio washer that is giving me headaches.
During the agitation cycle, the agitator spins well, but the drum does not. This causes the clothes to not cycle around. During the spin cycle, the drum gets to about 50% speed, then starts making a loud grinding noise before it reads done but not fully spun/drained. I’ve also had issues where it will start the wash cycle, rotate a while, then “finish” before getting past the load sense stage.
I also noted that when empty or nearly empty, everything looked to be running fine.
Emptied the washer and ran diagnostics and only show error codes F0 E3. Tested the drain pump which seems to sound good. Tested the high spin and it got up to full speed in about 1 minute. Tested the slow/fast agitate, and only the agitator spins (not the drum).
Please help!!
