Hi,
I have a Whirlpool dishwasher (Model #WDT970SAHV0) that is leaking from the front door.
-I have found puddles on the floor, the inside of the door is wet but the outside is dry
-I have replaced the Tub seal & lower door seal and am still getting a leak
-Dishwasher is almost level, the front is slightly higher.

Any advice would be appreciated, also I don't know if it matters, but the new tub seal goes a bit further into the tub at the ends looks like the lower door seal might be resting on part of it, should i trim these back to ensure that the door seal isn't compressing the tub seal ends and creating a gap somewhere?

Thanks in advance,
Mark

Hi Mark,

The lower spray arm is usually what's causing this leak problem.

Look here:

Your model uses the exact lower spray arm:

could you explain why the lower spray arm is causing the unit to leak? I am having the same problem and I really cant afford to spend $100 if it won't fix the problem. I am not saying you aren't correct, I'm just hoping to better understand it before committing money to a fix.

I explain that here in this post:
Its usually a very small crack in the seam of that lower spray arm that you can't see, that caused it to leak out the door.

You can also do a search from this link: https://www.applianceblog.com/mainforums/search/147675/?q=W10837249&o=relevance and you will see how many others were fixed by the new spray arm.
