Whirlpool Dishwasher WDTA50SAHZ0 - Won't Wash, Pump has Continuity

Our dishwasher stopped washing. It still fills, drains and heats. Just no washing action. I did some googling, and I believe it is either the washer pump motor or the control board. Even though I have a service contract with Whirlpool, the 1st available repair date is more than two weeks away. So I am seeing if I can fix it myself first. I uninstalled the dishwasher and flipped it for ease of work. I tested the pump terminals for continuity. It has very low resistance about 35 ohms.

My questions: 1. If the pump has continuity (low resistance) is it likely that it is OK? Or can it still be bad?
2. If I am right in my guess above, the pump is OK, does this mean it is likely the control board?

In asking questions, I am just trying to show I've done some homework. If I've not done a good job and you understand better than me what is going on, please feel free to correct me. I just want to learn and fix my broken stuff!

I tested the pump terminals for continuity. It has very low resistance about 35 ohms.

Actually that's too high, normal is 5 to 15 ohms. So that indicates the wash motor is the problem.

Thank you for the response. As I pulled the dishwasher and turned it over to test the motor, I was able to get the part number of the wash pump motor. It is A10854710. Is it the case that it is the same part that you list, just with a different number? Same as, say car parts, same part sold with different numbers?

A10854710 is a manufacturing number, not a part number.

The correct part number is the one I posted in post #2 above.
