Whirlpool dryer stuck in ON/OFF loop?

HI all. New member with a problem here.....
We have Whirlpool FT CM10 8B UK dryer. For the last few weeks it started his own life.... turns on randomly and then off. Now ALWAYS when we press ON button we see Start/Pause button blinking as is some cycle was paused. When start pressed dryer starts and runs for few minutes when just switches off. Sometimes starts again and start/stop is blinking again. Sometimes can stay silent when OFF but sometimes starts ON and OFF for few times as if someone is pressing button. Checked the circuit board. No visible damage or stuck buttons.
Does anyone knows whats wrong with this thing or it is time to call Ghostbusters.....

I was hoping that someone can put me on right track to find where is the issue. Managed to find info that motor could be overheated and needs to be replaced. Just how to confirm if this is the case......

I realize that but you need to ask people familiar with the system involved. They're not all designed the same.
