If that's the case, then unplug the dryer and open it up and remove the drum and vacuum all the lint inside the dryer, some of the lint might be clogging the motor vent and making the dryer motor overheat and not come on load after load.
thanks for the quick reply to answer your question Jake no I do not know how to remove a drum. I think what happened was that the wife opened the door to soon if that's possible. As long as its starting I'm not going to consider removing the drum just yet! but if it happens again I will be removing the drum.
thought I would post an update. The door latch switch got here a couple of days ago. And of course that was what the problem was. But the chain is only as strong as the weakest link. But at this point I have strengthened three weakest links. But you know Jake maybe the next time I might have to remove drum but not this time. Thanks for the help
