Hi Jake,

We have a 10+ year old WED9500TW3 Dryer.

Except for the Timed dry cycles, for all the other modes the dryer continues to run and does not stop i.e. the clock continues to add time beyond what it initially shows.

Recently, we have started to notice that clothes are still damp in the timed dry mode.

Any pointers on how to diagnose this?

Hi,

That indicates a vent restriction, go outside and see if your exhaust duct is clogged up with lint, also pull the dryer out from the wall and remove the exhaust vent hose and dry a load with the exhaust hose OFF, then you will know for sure its a vent restriction to the outside of your house.
