I'm getting error E1 F9. I looked it up and tried several suggestions, the first being to turn it off and turn it on again, the second being to unplug it and plug it back in. Neither worked. We disconnected the drain pump and snaked it. We also cleaned out the area where the washer meets the drain pump. I plugged it back in and hear water draining (gurgling sound), but the error is still coming up. I am reluctant to open up the washer since the dryer is stacked on top. However, I can't open the lock because it's locked and I have clothes in there that will get very stinky.

Adding: I don't know the model number and can't move the washing machine out far enough to check. The model number listed is for the Duet dryer that is stacked on top; when we moved the washer and dryer were already here and the previous owners only left us the manual for the dryer.

The model number tag is located inside the door, we need your model number first, without that we are dead in the water.

Wait, you can't open the washer door because it won't unlock? If so, see if your model has the lower front access panel you can remove, then you will see a ring that you pull down to unlock the door.
