Washer does not power up. No display. Troubleshooting guide says to verify power at receptacle. I have 120vac. Guide says to plug unit in and listen for audible click from CCU. No click. Guide says replace CCU. I replace p/n 8182695 CCU with new unit. Still no audible click, no display. There is an electrical filter inline before the CCU. It checks good per the troubleshooting guide. Are bad parts from stock common? What else could be the problem?

WOW!!! Put this one into the memory banks for this model washer. I was reading other posts with the same problem as mine. Another poster had found a bad wire on the grey cable the runs from the CCU to the control panel from laying on the drum. Guess what? Same here. I fixed the wire and everything works as described. Now I gotta try and get my money back for the CCU.

Excellent, good job Billy.:)

Where did you buy the CCU from?

I bought the CCU from Marcone. There is a local store here. It was a little more expensive that repairclinic.com, but it was local. I did get my money back today.

Ok, Even though you already installed it? They gave you a full refund?

If so that sounds good.:) Most local appliance parts stores won't.
