My whirlpool duet washer runs through till the rinse spin cycle than stops. Remains locked and beeps 3 times every 3 seconds and flashes the wash light

I have already replaced the drain pump and cleaned the filter

It also has a tear in the gasket in the front that is pretty big. It on the bottom so water drains out

I'm attaching your tech. data sheet below. On page 5 do the diagnostics test and the Starting Service History Mode & Diagnostic Test to check for a error code.

For the tear in the front gasket you'd need to replace the bellow.

That's odd, does the washer fill on COLD WATER ONLY in any cycle?

You may want to UNPLUG THE MACHINE FIRST, then remove the MCU(Motor Control Unit) and look at the circuit board closely and see if you notice any burnt spots on it, IF SO then its the culprit.

If the MCU looks good, then its possibly the CCU.
