I have searched the forums as this is a common issue it seems, wasn’t able to find the info

Here is what I have tried so far:
-Checked control board It HAS a ”W”
-Ran diagnastic mode, no errors came up
-Removed back panel in freezer, ice is accumulating in this location (see picture)
-Removed back kick plate everything appears to be “normal“

I’m wondering if this could be a bad defrost thermistor OR if it is a leak based on the picture

When you have a ice block in that area of your evaporator coil and the other coils have no frost on them, that indicates a sealed system problem.

Check your owners manual warranty to see if you have a sealed system warranty after the 1st year warranty,
