Hi, I have a french door whirlpool GSF26C4EXF02 refrigerator.

All of a sudden, the temperature in the fridge and freezer dropped.

The compressor is running. The evaporator and condenser fans are running. The condenser and evaporators coils are clean without obstruction and there is minimal frost buildup on the evaporator coils.

Please help!

there is minimal frost buildup on the evaporator coils.
Sounds like possibly a sealed system problem. Look at the very bottom photo below of a NORMAL frost pattern on the evaporator coil.

That’s very helpful. The compressor is running and is warm, but the coils underneath the back of the refrigerator are not hot. Does that also go with sealed system? Any use in trying to fix it?

Yup, you have a sealed system problem.

The sealed system consists of the compressor, condenser, evaporator, heat exchanger, filter/drier and refrigerant. Common problems with a sealed system are bad compressors, refrigerant leaks, and system restrictions. Sealed system repair costs will often exceed the machines value.

Time to go refrigerator shopping.:)
