WFE714HLAS1 electric oven burner stays high the whole time when oven is in use. I have the correct ohms at the oven probe, continuity at oven burner, broiler burner and safety switch.

I'm guessing the control board is the culprit here, is there anything I'm forgetting?

Wanting to get all my ducks in a row before I drop $500 on the board (or price out some new stoves). I'm gonna check to see if any connections are touching the back metal cover panels as another last resort.

I've also found a history of temp probes on stoves faulting at highers Temps but being correct at room temp

So you are saying the lower bake element in the bottom of the oven is on all time and will never cycle off? Even if you set the oven to OFF it still stays ON?

If so, Yes, you will need to replace the clock oven control board.

Here's the clock oven control board for your model you can order:

Only while the oven is on. Heat continues to rise and never stops until oven is turned off

The discounted price on that link for the board is much better than what I was gonna pay. Much appreciated if I have to go that route. I'm swapping the temp probe tomorrow or Saturday too. Will let u know if it resolves it

I have the correct ohms at the oven probe
If you already ohm tested the oven sensor and it shows good(between 1050 to 1100 ohms at room temperature) than its good for sure.:)

So it has to be the clock oven control board, you know what I mean?

Jake

Yep for sure. Was just hopeful that it would be something else I didn't think of or remember to check.
