FIXED Whirlpool Refrigerator WRX986SIHZ00 No lights, No cooling

Last week led lights on top went out,freezer led out, when doors opened lights flashed then went out with just a dot of light still on.Then
Yesterday the whole ref. Went out, no lights at all and no comp.running. I had to borrow the neighbors old ref. I can't get anyone out to look till next week.
How can I test this and fix it?
I've reset breaker,pulled plug for 30 mins., Plugged back in and nothing. I tested outlet so I know it's getting power but nothing goes on.I
Is this common problem to whirlpool? It's only two years old, is there any recalls?
Any and all help is much appreciated.

Another person had this issue, Unplug your refrigerator first, then remove all the electrical connectors to the LED light board then plug the refrigerator back in and see if everything starts working again.

This is the LED light board for your model:
Control Board W10830288

That board is located in the back of the refrigerator on the back exterior wall. Pull the refrigerator out from the wall, then Unplug the refrigerator, then you will see a cover over it, just remove that cover and remove the electrical connectors on that LED light board.

If still nothing, unplug the refrigerator then remove the Pantry UI Board and plug the refrigerator back in and see if everything starts working again.

Wow sooo easy. Just 4 screws and some tape then 2 connectors. IT'S ALIVE.
So can I use it till I can get that board?(W10830288) .

Yes, you can still use it until you get your new LED light board.

Just remember to unplug the refrigerator before replacing it.

First off I want to say thanks again.
I can't belive whirlpool sent me the led board free of charge,I am blessed.
Now the new board is in, the freezer and top led's are still not working?
Searching comes up with the freezer led needs to be replaced,is this true?

Yes, order and replace the freezer LED light and the others will work after that. You may want to unplug the LED board again until you get the new freezer LED light, that may have shorted that LED board out to begin with.
