I recently bought a used fridge. Its a whirlpool side by side with a conquest ice/water dispensing system model #GS2SHEXMQ00. The seemed perfect for the first day, then I noticed it stopped dropping ice into the collection bucket. I reset the fridge, nothing happened. I cleaned the sensors (red light is flashing when the door is open and turns solid when closed). Nothing happened. So I took a hair dryer to what felt like a solid block of ice in the ice maker, pulled the plug and when it was all melted plugged it back in. Voila! The fridge started dropping ice cubes into the bucket on the door again, I received at least two rounds of cubes. But by that evening the tray was again a solid mass and not dropping individual cubes. I took the hair dryer and again thawed the ice mass in the ice maker, but this time I didn't unplug the fridge. The fridge has not resumed dropping ice cubes, and all the water in the tray froze over again. I should also kote the water dispenser works perfectly.

Advice is greatly appreciated!
