Sorry - I originally posted this in the wrong thread. Here's the problem:

We just bought a used Whirlpool Thin Twin stackable, model number LTE5243DT3, and it seems to have somthing wrong with the spin cycle. It does spin, but the clothes remain sopping wet even after running the spin cycle several times in an attempt to drain away the water. My husband noticed that it looks like it's "wobbling" back and forth excessively when spinning.

Any ideas?

Thanks for your help!

Its either a problem in your suspension plate or springs, these are very difficult models to work on. I would advise you call out an appliance repair company in your area.

Hi, thanks for your quick response. I called a repair company and was a little dismayed by the quoted price for a service call, but I guess we'll have to suck it up. My question now is, I took another look as it was spinning and it just doesn't seem to be spinning quickly enough to drain away the excess water. Is there something that could be causing it run more slowly than it should?

Thanks again.
