My washer just started making a clicking/grinding noise during the agitation cycle. It will continue to wash, but the noise is unbearable. During the spin cycle, it is just a quieter clicking noise. I've attached videos w/audio of both cycles. Thoughts?

Is that clutch also referred to as the splutch? My kenmore making some strange noises and replaced the actuator and it seems worse even did the recalibration. Some I've heard call it the cam? Its the plastic gears, which mine look fine? thanks

Yes, they are often called the splutch. FYI, the teeth on my old clutch looked fine...only showing the slightest bit of wear, so I was a bit skeptical that it was the problem. However, after changing it out, all is well.

If the splutch doesn't fix the spin problem, could the circuit board or capacitor be an issue?

Unfortunately the cam kit splutch didn't fix the issue. I put it in drain/spin mode and it drains trys to spin making a weird noise then goes back to drain and repeats. Got a gremlin somewhere? Any ideas as to what might be happening? Its a kenmore top loader about 7yrs old.

Can you video the washer and post it here....maybe someone has seen your issue before.

I cannot send video as I still have a dumb phone, a flip. I should start a new thread with the model number. thanks Jeff.
