About 9-10 months ago we had a power outage/Surge and the main fuse on the control board blew. I replaced the board. The fuse has gone again, so I soldered in a new one. While moving the washer (while plugged in) the fuse blew again. I'm suspecting the lower wiring harness might have an issue, but don't see one at quick glance. (I've checked the continuity of the upper harness' as they're easy to get to) and they check OK.

Is there anything else to check before just ordering a new lower harness???

TIA

I should note, I tried changing the fuse in the old board as well, but when I tried it it keeps giving a F3 E2 fault (the temperature sensor tests good)

Here's the ACU for your model:

Here's the main lower wire harness for you model:

Nope, accept for this this bulletin and your interference filter(IF).

I located a bulletin--->ACU Diagnostic LED Correction I'm attaching it below.

Also check your interference filter(IF), the tech. data sheet tells you how in TEST #1: ACU Power Check

Here's the interference filter(IF) for your model:

I'm attaching your tech data sheet below.

Replaced the filter, and the wiring harness' Fuses still blowing, now taking out the Thermistor on the board next to the heatsink with it. :( I'm almost afraid to get a replacement board for fear it'll just blow too. Starting to think the thing is processed or something.

Then that indicates you POSSIBLY have a electrical/breaker in your house, contact a reputable electrician to come out and see what's going on. This is NOT a common problem.

That power surge you had could of done damage to that circuit causing a short or bad neutral.

That's why I'm a FIRM BELIEVER in whole home surge protectors.

Surges do damage by hunting for earth ground destructively via appliances. A surge connected to earth by a 'whole house' protector doesn't go hunting for earth destructive via any appliance.

My whole home surge protector is outside where the main electric meter and breaker box are located, it sends the surge directly to earth ground outside before it comes into the house.

When I moved from Arizona back to Oregon, this Oregon house did NOT have a whole home surge protector, and that was the first upgrade to this house I did, was to have a reputable electrician install one, and the City of Redmond, Oregon electrical inspector came out and passed it after the electrician was done installing it.
