HI,
So I have a whirlpool top load washer model LSR5232LQ1. The problem is that it fills agitate and when it is time to drain and rinse it stops completely as if it finish the cycle, no hmming no any other sounds, so I checked the hoses both external and internal all clear and the washer will drain if i put the drain hose in a bucket on the floor, I checked the water bump and found a broken hair clip and I removed it and the wheel inside is moving freely now, the funny thing is while I was reinstalling the washer I accedintely broke the lid switch, I read a suggestions about checking or bypassing the lid switch but I thought it was OK and wanted to check the bump first since I suspected it the most.
My question is how to tell if the bump is not working?? I checked it for broken parts and there were no broken things? and the other question what could be causing the problm if it is not the bump?? and can you provide a video of how to bypass the lid switch?? thanks a lot
