Hi All,

Our washing machine (WTW5700SW0) has developed a leak from the right side. I checked the hoses and there are no visible leaks so it must be coming from internally. To open the washing machine I assume the control panel first comes off and then there are a set of screws that are removed before you can get access. If anyone has details of how this comes off I would appreciate it.

Thanks
Nick

Hi Nick,

Is the water leaking from the right side front? On your model that usually means its coming from the drain pump.

On your model you remove the entire cabinet to access all the parts.

Here's the drain pump for your model:

Here's the video to access/change it:

Let us know if that's what is leaking.

Issue was the inlet pipe. This model had the plastic one and must have decayed to the point it cracked. Those clamps though were a nightmare to get back on. I had to use some liquid detergents to help them slide up. Luckily the replacement is rubber. Hopefully it will last a lot longer.

I did replace the water pump since I had ordered it. The one thing I noticed was the water that was in the tube smelled really bad. Does the spin cycle always leave some sort of leftover water?

What part number are you calling the inlet pipe? You water inlet pipe? What is the part number of it that you ordered?

Yes, a little bit underneath the spin basket.
