Hello,

I have done the following to try to resolve the F03 E01 error.

1. Cleaned drain filter.
2. Ran 3 clean washer cycles using Afresh tablet each time.
3. Drained all water before replacing OEM air pressure sensor.
4. Checked air trap (air dome) , air trap to pressure hose, and pressure hose to water level sensor.
5. Ran quick quick diagnostic test 2x's with no issues.

However, any size load causes the F03 and E01.

Had to unplug and unlock manually to get to wet clothes.

Why does my diagnostic test work and regular load fail?

Thanks

John

F3E1 WATER LEVEL SYSTEM ERROR
The ACU detects an out of range pressure signal.
Possible Causes
Check connections from tub to air trap, air trap to pressure hose, and pressure hose to water level sensor.
Is pressure hose pinched, kinked, plugged, or leaking air?
See TEST #7 (Water Level Sensor) on page 17.

Ok, lets first make sure its draining fast and not slow.

Look at what I mentioned here:
Put the machine in Rinse and start it, then pull the drain hose up from the drain pipe, then watch how fast the water flows out, should be a very strong flow out with lots of pressure. If not you have a clog elsewhere, that you would need to check for in the tub to pump hose.
A slow pump out of water also can cause this issue.

Hi Jake,

The water gushes out when draining on a quick wash with no clothes.

Also the quick wash successfully completes with no clothes. With clothes, F03/E01 displays on the drain cycle.

Similarly (having no clothes), the quick diagnostics successfully completes (C00-C08).

No hoses are pinched or plugged coming from tub to air trap, air trap to pressure hose, and pressure hose to water pressure sensor.

Nothing pinched, kinked, plugged, or leaking.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

John

Hi Jake,

New update. I was able to successfully complete 2 loads of quick wash and 2 normal loads by adjusting the detergent concentration to "6x" rather than the default of "2x". We are using Tide HE with fabric softener included. Bought from Costco.

Also changed the water hardness to "hard".

I was curious if soap bubbles were causing the issue.

So far so good.

I will keep you updated.

Thanks,

John

Hi Jake,

Thank you for your reply.

I have cleared the codes many times.

The only question regarding a bad ACU board is why does the load work sometimes (small light clothes) and not work other times (heavy large items)? Should the error always display with any load?

How much would it cost to replace the ACU including labor?

Thanks,

John

That I don't know, sorry.

I posted the link to the ACU in post #4 above, that's $260 plus labor depends on who you have do it, usually its over $100 labor from most places.
