Our lower oven signals it has reached the 350 degree temperature when preheating and it is only 298 degrees. Broiler doesn't hit temp either. After several minutes the oven will finally get up to about 330 degrees. I think I need to replace the temperature sensor and it appears to be nestled up at the top of the oven with the broiler element. Am I correct? Do I just remove the 3 screws in the plate holding the broiler element to get access. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

Measure the resistance of the oven sensor at room temperature. Your meter should indicate about 1050 to 1100 ohms.

Watch this video to ohm test it:

Disconnect power to the wall oven, then inside the oven you will see the oven sensor in the back, remove the 2 screws that hold it in place and slowly pull it towards you and then you will see a connector that goes to it, remove the connector and ohm test it.
