Whirlpool WRS325SDHZ08 side-by-side refrigerator is warm due to evaporator being completely iced up. Heater tests okay. Parts diagram does not show a defrost thermostat or defrost thermistor. Does anyone have a service manual for this refrig? The tech sheet only show a wiring diagram and that shows 2 thermal fuses before and after the defrost heater and an evaporator sensor but the exploded parts views don't show those parts. Tech sheet does not indicate any way to force defrost. Any ideas?

evaporator being completely iced up.

"Ice" or white snow-like "frost"? It is an important distinction. Please post a clear photo of the condition for evaluation.

The tech sheet only show a wiring diagram and that shows 2 thermal fuses before and after the defrost heater and an evaporator sensor but the exploded parts views don't show those parts.

They are usually in the wiring to the defrost heater. They are not separate components. They may appear as just a slight bump or bulge in the wiring to the heater. They may be in the heater's wiring or the wiring harness leading to the heater.

Tech sheet does not indicate any way to force defrost. Any ideas?

Step 13 initiates the defrost heater.

I don't have a picture but this refrigerator defrost function stopped working at least a month ago. The evaporator was a 10 lb block of solid ice. I thawed it out for the customer but of course, it's going to ice up again.

Thanks for the tech sheet. The tech sheet on the refrig itself was only 1 page; the wiring diagram.

If the fuses are in the wiring harness, you may have to contact Whirlpool to confirm the harness' part number. I see fan and heater harness # W11573118 listed in the parts list but can't find it available anywhere or even listed at many vendors.

The fuse and harness for an earlier Whirlpool fridge model is illustrated in the following forum post, for comparison.
