I purchased a home in 2019 and the ice maker never worked, finally got around to troubleshooting and replacing the entire ice maker and the new one does not sit level within the compartment. I will attach a photo for reference, I adjusted the water full level to try and compensate but now the cubes come out less than half size.

This ice maker comes in a kit with wiring that MUST be installed as well. I've replaced many of these Ice makers and the wiring that comes with it and they all sit level and work perfect.

Here's the OEM ice maker kit for your model:
Ice Maker W10882923

It comes with new wiring that you MUST replace as well.

The arm is semi-up when you install it, then after you install it and power is going to it the arm will start to move down and you will hear it FILL with water before it goes all the way down.

I can see that the ice maker slides down the plastic channel on the left edge of the compartment. When I tear everything apart it looks fine but there is too much play in the bottom tray that the ice maker gets attached to once it’s inserted into the plastic channel.

After looking further into it and taking more photos the front of the tray looks warped which is causing the front right corner of the ice maker to dip. Do you have a possible part number for that plastic tray?

I tore out the ice maker again for better pictures. As you can see the ice maker is quite slanted on top of the Air-Baffle is that by design? Or did I just install it incorrectly? And there is a bunch of play with the ice maker attached to the Air-Baffle as seen in the video.

Looks like you didn't install it properly, there should be NO PLAY in the ice maker that attached to the Air-Baffle.

Did you install the new wiring that came with it?

Watch that video I posted above.
