When attempting to start a cycle, the green fill light comes on, the red lid lock light flashes and the lid switch clicks repeatedly. Never goes beyond this stage. Error codes are as follows:
F5E1 Lid switch fault
F5E2 Lid lock fault
F7E1 Basket speed sensor fault
F1E1 Main electronic board failure
The machine ran perfectly the day before. On the last successful load, the lid had some resistance as if it were partially locked but it did open.

Before I spend the money on a new lid switch, I'm wondering about these other two codes. Is is possible that a lid switch problem could cause these other two codes to show up? Or is guaranteed that there is trouble in those other areas too?

Yes, a bad lid switch can cause those other error codes to show up.

The lid switch is the problem, I've seen this happen before many times on my service calls.

Here's the lid lock latch assembly for your model(Video Included):

I'd also check the lid door strike that's mounted on your lid, to make sure that's not broke. When I order and replace the lid lock on these models I always order and replace the lid door strike as well, as they work together.

Let us know how it goes.
