Whirlpool WTW5000DW1 loud screeching noise doing wash - agitation cycle (video w/sound)

Six-year old Whirlpool model WTW5000DW1 is making a loud screeching sound during wash cycle. The sound occurs when using any of the various wash selections.

I attached a video of the machine running in the Normal wash mode with no clothes in the machine. The sound is emanating from underneath the washer. The sound only happens during the agitating - wash cycle, this sound does not happen during the rinse or spin cycle.

Any help with diagnosing this issue is appreciated.

Does it smell like the belt burning?

No it does not, no smell. I’ve inspected the belt - it appears to be in very good condition.

The motor would probably make noise all the time so you probably need that plastic wheel, or you could try taking it off and putting some grease on it. Squealing on the inside, bearings dry or where the tension spring attaches (both ends).
