My whirlpool gold dishwasher is about 7 years old and is leaking from the center of the unit underneath. It is coming from the white part in the photos.

What is this part, why is it leaking and how to I repair it?

Please help!

Hi,

Judging from the calcium and such on the diverter motor you will also want to change it as well. Seal above that is leaking.

Thank you for the response. Can just the gasket/seal on the inside of the dishwasher be replaced to stop the leak?

The gasket in the middle where the diverter motor enters the d/w only comes with the plastic body together.
