So are dryer has been going out for some time but now the washer isn't working. So I have been looking and reading all week on washer dryer sets. I have been all over the place. From top load to front load to the wash tower from lg. So unless i find better info it looks like the ge and lg is the highly rated for mainstream machines. I have some ocd problems and won't be able to pick until i find out who builds the best machines that i can afford. Looking at spending $2300 top. I can't pay the speed queen prices. Here is what the wife likes and i will add why i don't.
Ge profile https://www.bestbuy.com/site/ge-pro...ology-carbon-graphite/6494210.p?skuId=6494210 PFW950SPTDS I don't like that we have a ge profile stove and i have had it repaired 5 times in a year. Worry that the washer would be the same. Also how good does this machine clean?
Lg https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-5-0...elligence-black-steel/6397859.p?skuId=6397859 WM4500HBA I like the reports back about quality but looks really old not sure when this came out. Can i stack it and my wife reach the clothes on the inside. no demo models in town to test this. How good does this model clean? Can one person move these. I know the ge models u need like 2-3 people.
LG - 5.0 Cu. Ft. High-Efficiency Stackable Smart Front Load Washer with Steam and TurboWash 360 - Black steel WM6700HBA Again lg but does that mean this is quality just because of the name. Is this any better than the wm4500 series? Does this clean better than the wm4500 series?
LG - 4.5 Cu. Ft. HE Smart Front Load Washer and 7.4 Cu. Ft. Electric Dryer WashTower with Steam and Built-In Intelligence - White WKEX200HWA
I love the idea and i want stacked. But is the 4.5 cubic washer to small. We have a 4.8 now and not sure if we could go down. There is 5 of us using the washer and dryer. So i think size does matter here. Also no detergent holding tank. why not for this kind of money. Also im looking at bestbuy to pick these up. I have the totaltech plan all ready and plan on keeping it. Gives free 2 year warranty from what i have been told.
