Good morning, I'm working on a GE washer model#WLRE4500G1WW it not agitating or spinning out. I found the tech sheet and tried to run it through the test modes but it was a little confusing to me on how to read it. Could the lid switch keep this machine from doing these two things or as I have read on a couple of the blogs on here it could be the motor. The belt is in good shape, motor turns freely as wells as the tub, any thoughts? Thanks.

Hi,

Here's the motor for your model:
Drive Motor WH20X10058

Motor status is displayed through a series of flash codes from a green LED located on the front side of the inverter just above the motor. See if it's flashing a code. Tell me how many times its flashing in sequence.

There is no flash at all. I checked the lid switch and the fuse, both omed out fine. I also tried resetting the codes by going through the steeps of opening and closing the washer lid according to the tech sheet, still no agitate or spin, any thoughts?

Ok,

If the light isn’t blinking and the fuse isn’t blown, order and replace the motor.
