WM2016CW LG Washer - no response after changing power supply

ordered & installed new power supply ...had no red light indicator or sound from display board.
Display board now beeps but does not light up or show any indication it is functioning...

How do I check if the main board I received is good ?
I have a good voltmeter and have a few years of electrical experience,,(40 years)..
