Hello,
Recently my wife told me that our LG washer stopped turning on. She told me that unplugging it would allow it to turn on and she could run a load.
1. If you unplug the machine from the outlet for at least around a minute, the washer will turn back on.
2. You can complete a whole load.
3. When the machine shuts off after the load is over, if you try to turn it on within say a minute it will turn back on.
4. If you wait longer than this the washer will not turn back on and then you need to resort to unplugging the machine to get the washer to power on again.
5. I am unsure of how to run a test mode on this unit. I tried following YT video but in order for the unit to run this test, i think the unit must be off but able to jump to the on position but since this unit needs to be unplugged, it goes to the on position everytime.
I do not want to spend 500.00 dollars to have a repair guy come over if this is something a novice guy can complete. Any ideas of where to start?
Thank you kindly.
