    ALWAYS discharge the high-voltage capacitor first if you even think your hands will come close to any HIGH VOLTAGE components.

    Jeff mentions this: Anything in the high voltage ( magnetron, capacitor, diode, wires to and from ):
    ...Use a metal ( not the shiny chrome type ) screw driver with a insulated handle to short across ( touch both at the same time ) the terminals of the high voltage capacitor to discharge it.

Over the range microwave is not heating up the food. No loud sounds, light turn on, plate turns, vent works, new filters installed 2 months ago.

OK, it's working but not heating. Check for 120 VAC on the primary side of the high voltage transformer. If there's no voltage check the magtube TCO and Cavity TCO for continuity. Check the door switches for continuity by opening and closing the door.
