Our icemaker stopped working a while back. We had whirlpool come out many times. Everything has been replaced including the water inlet in the rear bottom of the unit. Im suspecting that the water line in the top of the fridge may be the culprit. Only i dont know how to access it. The icemaker is not getting water all the time. We do get occasional very small pieces made and when we used to jar the unit it would make ice for a day then quit. How can i access the inside the top of the fridge to check it out? The water dispenser works fine.

Thanks Jake. We had a tech replace the upper double inlet valve but it is still only (sometimes) making small peices of ice and hardly any ice at all. I read part of a thread where someone said he replaced just about every part and finally found a seal that was letting in warm air, supposedly not letting the icemaker cycle through correctly. Once he fixed this seal, it was making ice again.
