Ice maker on the fridge hasn't been working. A few cubes are harvested very rarely. I noticed that the water valve was leaking, so I replaced that in hopes that it would fix the ice maker. It's been a little less than 24 hours and there's still no ice.
Some test results:
  • Test 1: FC Thermistor - 01 (pass)
  • Test 2: RC Thermistor - 01 (pass)
  • Test 6: Defrost Heater/Bi-metal - 01 (bi-metal closed)
  • Test 15: Ice Level Sensor 02 (bin not full)
  • Test 36: Ice Box Fan: Cold airflow verified ✔️
  • Test 45: Ice Maker Water Fill Test: Ran this, but not sure how to verify water made it into the ice maker
  • Test 56: Ice Maker Error Codes: E5 (Ice maker thermistor is bad... etc.)
  • Test 57: Ice Maker Harvest:
    • First result is 02 (harvesting not completed).
    • Second result is 01 (harvesting completed). Reran after running Test 58.
  • Test 58: Ice Maker Heater Activation and Thermistor:
    • First result is 1 (temp cooler than harvest temp).
    • Ran again and got 0 (temp warmer than harvest temp)
Obviously concerned about Test 56 returning "E5" but hoping there's a solution that doesn't involve replacing the ice maker.... 🥶
Maybe I just have to wait a little longer?

Thanks for your help!

Hi, another member had this same issue on your exact same model, here's that thread:
E5-The error code indicates the ice maker Thermistor is warmer than 16 degrees. The cold air to the ice maker is controlled by the freezer fan motor, open the freezer door and see if you hear it running.

Look at this thread, where I mentioned how to test it:
Here's the FC fan motor for your model:
Jake

Do what I mentioned and post the results back.:)

@Jake This is 100% spot on. Same issue and now I'm noticing the refrigerator temp is increasing. Must be the motor. Appreciate you pointing me in the right direction.
