It started off with the freezer slowly rising in temperature to the point where food started to thaw. A few days later, the refrigerator stopped cooling. Pulled the front bottom vent/panel to find it completely blocked with dust, which I cleaned. This did not help with anything.
I pulled the access panel off the back to find that the compressor and fan run normally. I then pulled the interior panel from the freezer. What I found was a thin layer of ice at the beginning of the coil that comes from the top, then the ice layer stops as it runs down the right side.
From what I gathered from research here is that it might be a sealed system issue, which the repair may exceed the cost of what the refrigerator is worth. Just hoping to confirm my suspicions, or possibly troubleshoot for any possibility to salvage it.
