Hello all,
First post here. We have the above listed fridge, bought in about 2016. The other night we were standing in the kitchen and it started beeping like the door was open but it was not. The red light on the display showed it was open. Opening and closing the door didn't do anything and in fact when I manually depressed the door light switches the lights remained on. I thought perhaps the motherboard was locked up so I turned off the circuit breaker and let it sit for a while and turned it back on. Now the lights were off and stayed off and nothing worked except the function icons on the display. the cooling temperature was not displayed and the compressor and fans were off. I tried setting the temp. On this model you press and hold the temp button and after a three second countdown it beeps and flashes the temp quickly then nothing. Reading other posts in various places most repaired the issue with a new main board. Even saw that they sell repair kits on ebay. I found one at a local parts house and put it in..That was a waste of 270.00..Exact same issue. I found a tech sheet online on how to enter test mode and go through the test procedures. Some things tested okay, and some did nothing. For instance service test 4 should cycle the compressor and fan at various speeds. The display acted as if it should be working not nothing came on. Some of the thermistor tests, should be a test/fail display but the display was blank. Then when I got to the door switch test, it shows that every door is open. None of the doors change the value. So now I'm lost. I see that several people also replaced the power supply board. Looking at the parts list it appears this thing has several boards including an inverter board somewhere. Unfortunately the diagnostic tech sheet doesn't tell me what to look for if a step fails. Has anyone seen this issue before? Right now the only thing showing power are the icons on the front display. After throwing away 270.00 I'm leery of going any further. I can't get anyone out here for days and was hoping to fix it myself which I'm usually pretty good at.

Thanks for your time folks,

John

Dug a little deeper here and saw a comment about the pantry door control and/or harness. We pulled the drawer open, pulled the cover off the plug on the back of the drawer front and unplugged the harness. Everything started working and it's cooling. We followed the harness along the slide and saw a worn spot on the cover. Wiring looks good but the cover has worn through so going to wrap that to protect it.
