My Icemaker will not fill. I've replaced the icemaker, the new icemaker does run a harvest cycle when jumped T and H. Lastly I have looked for broken wires at the bottom of the door but did not find any. The water in the door does work. I am not sure how to proceed. Where should I look next?

Thank you

Hi David, Put your multimeter probes in the electrical connector that goes to the single water inlet valve, then Run service step 25- Ice Maker Water Fill Test, and see if your meter says 120 volts. Do the same on the ice maker solenoid side of the dual water inlet valve and see if you get 120 volts.

I'm attaching your tech. data sheet below that shows you how to do step 25.

Both of these water inlet valves are in the back of your refrigerator. The dual one should be located behind the single one, it will have a small plastic cover over it that is held on by 1 screw, just remove that screw to get that cover off the dual one.

Here's the single water inlet valve for your model:

Here's the dual water inlet valve for your model:

Let us know what you find.

Jake,
There was no power in the icemaker connector. I have power to the water connectors but not the ice maker. What do I test now?
I appreciate the help!

Ok David, in your first post you said this:
the new icemaker does run a harvest cycle when jumped T and H. Lastly I have looked for broken wires at the bottom of the door but did not find any.
So you did have power to the ice maker connector at first, so that makes me believe you have a frayed or broken wire under the freezer door, recheck your wires.

Also remove the black loom from the wire harness directly under the freezer door, I've seen wires get broken/frayed there too.

Jake,
I've removed all of the wire covers at the base of the freezer door, none of the wires are frayed or broken.
Any ideas?

Thank you
David Berman

Ok David, it still seems you have a break in the wire, because all the other tests you did passed.

If you find no wire breakage, then I don't know what else could be causing it.
