Hello! My LG Top Loader (WT4870CW) has been dripping from the detergent drawer into the washing machine. I replaced the Water Inlet Value and it still continues to leak. Any ideas on what I can look for next?

That's very odd, the new water inlet valve should of fixed it. If you shut off the water to your machine it stops leaking?

The cause is the water inlet valve is not closing all the way, thus it drips in the tub all the time. I see this happen a lot on my service calls.

The only fix is to replace the water inlet valve. Sounds like possibly you received a defective water inlet valve.
